What is life that we value?
Hold it close as it passes by
So overwhelmed by its circumstance
Attempting to live right only to fail.
Living as if there is no value,
From despair’s depths we cry,
Where is my hope, my chance?
Can anyone help? I am so frail.
So little time, so futile,
As we attempt to leave our mark.
Not to be forgotten as time ends
When nothings left but dust.
Our struggles against the wind, so futile,
We race to stay out of the dark.
To find out only when the race ends
We have forgotten whom we trust.
No time to wait, life presses on
The length such a short span
Its quality determined in how we choose,
Not the circumstance we live.
Look around, see the course you are on.
Despite the brevity of the span
Renew your life, a Savior choose
Then you can truly live.
In Him, you will find true value.
Reach out as He passes by.
Whatever your circumstance
He will never fail.
We are of such infinite value
He will always answer our cry.
With him, we can take a stance
We are never feeble nor frail.
As God Speaks
